^satellite location camp to be held in Jackson, MI for ages 6-13 (exact location TBA)
AS OF 7/2/2010 -- Due to facility issues beyond our control, all Jackson, MI-based soccer camps in August 2010 have been canceled. In addition, due to unusually-low enrollment in the K-College-based HS/Club Team Camp, it has been canceled as well.
This camp is designed to give high-school (HS)-aged players (HS & club players) the best college-level training available in West Michigan, as well as incredible exposure to numerous college soccer coaches each evening. The camp is targeted to players ages 14+ (i.e. those who will be in HS in Fall 2010). Teams who attend camp together will receive training that is tailored to each team's strengths/weaknesses, and which also emphasizes team tactical play. Individual participants are encouraged to sign-up, as well, and will be placed with an existing team for the week's training sessions (and/or we will form a "team" of all individuals who register).
*NOTE* Sign-up early! This camp will be limited to a maximum of 8 boys' teams and 8 girls' teams, in order to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
MORE INFO ABOUT HS/CLUB TEAM CAMP...
The high-school/club evening team-camp runs for 4 consecutive nights (Mon-Thurs), from 5pm-8pm each night. Each evening will include 2 sessions: one training session with a college coach, and one 8v8 scrimmage against another team (thus giving all players a chance to practice and showcase the skills/tactics learned at camp in a game-realistic setting). We expect to expose each team to a different college coach for each evening's training session, thus giving all participants incredible exposure for both recruiting and training purposes. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
